In addition to being baptized, and equally exciting, is the fact that 8-year-olds get to start Cub Scouts! Jerrin was so excited to start scouts that he earned his Bobcat in just one week, and has already completed one requirement out of 12 for his wolf and has earned his gold arrow-point. If there were one word to describe Jerrin it would be Enthusiasm. Just ask anyone that knows him! Dallin has also been working on Cub Scouts and was able to receive his Bear the same day that Jerrin received his Bobcat. Now we are working hard to finish his Conservation Badge and as many arrow points as we can before his birthday at the end of next month.
Jerrin receiving his Bobcat--(the picture of Dallin receiving his Bear didn't turn out)
With Cub Scouts comes Cub Camp. Brandon has Mondays off and he spent it this week with the boys at Cub Camp. They had a great time. We are blessed with good boys in our ward, and fantastic Cub Leaders! They are continuing to enjoy camp and we girls are enjoying quiet days full of shopping and chick flicks!
This is the flag I made for their pack.
Jerrin learning to fold a flag
Good job, Jerrin! Now I know you are capable of folding things made of fabric. You should try folding your laundry sometime!

What a cute kid!
It looks like the whole Posse is having a good time. Thank you, Sister Butler, for making this such a great experience for our boys!
