Where Have February And March Gone?

It's been so long since I've blogged, I can't believe it! We've had so much going on.

We feel so blessed to have been able to purchase our first home and are really enjoying moving in and making it ours. We love having people over and spending time in our home! So, I'm going to take you on a condensed photo tour of our home. We still haven't hung pictures and such, but it's still feeling so homey and wonderful that we are just so happy!

The Kitchen and Dining Room

The kitchen is very nice. Brandon has learned the hard way that the cupboards above the bar open on both sides. RIP little plates. The dining room before we found all of the benches and chairs. We also found a great area rug with a rubber bottom at Goodwill! I don't know why someone chose to put carpet in the dining room, but with the area rug we're hoping to keep it nice as long as we can. Finally this is our view of the tennis courts next door from the deck off of the dining room. You can also see our covered deck down below (behind Kyleen's head).


This is the master bedroom. It doesn't show how big it is in the picture, but we sure love having some extra room. I'll spare you pictures of the kids' rooms. Just imagine lots of clothes and toys with small glimpses of new carpet underneath. Bre is enjoying her own room, and she is getting it in order and will hopefully keep it very nice. Here's hoping!!



Finally, the entry from downstairs, and the basement family room. We love the family room and feel so fortunate to have so much room! Behind the family room is the boys' room and we also have a very small exercise room downstairs.

So now you have an idea of what our new home is like. Once we get everything put together we are planning on having an open house and will try to get invites to all of our family and friends.

We feel so blessed.

So that is where the last two months have gone. I will try to be better and blog more often now that we are mostly settled, and I will leave a little teaser for the next entry.
